Desktop tray integration becomes more compatible on environments that use the StatusNotifierItem protocol. It helps DeaDBeeF show a modern status icon instead of relying on the older tray icon behavior.
This Git build follows the plugin development code for panels or applets with StatusNotifierItem support. It does not add playback features; it improves how the player appears in the desktop notification area.
