Description

Duplicate file blocks can be reduced through a FUSE filesystem with inline deduplication. This is useful for advanced users experimenting with storage savings on datasets that contain repeated data.

Deduplicating filesystems add complexity and can risk data loss if misused. Test with noncritical data, keep backups, and understand recovery limitations before storing important files.

How to run

ddumbfs

Commands: ddumbfs
