A Direct Connect hub can be hosted for peer-to-peer file-sharing communities. This is useful for operators who need hub software with enhancements over the older Open DC Hub base.
Hub servers can expose users to shared files, public chat, abuse, and legal risk. Configure moderation, access rules, logging, network exposure, and acceptable-use policy before running one.
