Description
Legacy CVS repositories can be accessed with prebuilt feature-release binaries extracted from Debian packages. This is useful when compatibility with that CVS branch matters more than building from source.
Use CVS mainly for older repositories and migration work. Review remote repository trust and credentials because legacy tooling may not match modern security expectations.
