Description
Provides a compatibility build of libcurl without versioned symbols. Applications that expect this ABI can use it to transfer data over URL-based protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS.
Most users receive it as a dependency for older or specially built software. It does not replace the normal curl command for everyday use.
