Adds filters and helper components that let CUPS convert documents into formats printers can understand. This is part of the path between clicking Print and getting correct output on paper or PDF-like printer targets.
It normally works behind the scenes and does not add a separate app. Keep it installed when your printer stack, drivers, or print workflows depend on OpenPrinting filters.
