Minecraft-compatible multiplayer worlds can be hosted with the development version of the Cuberite server. This is useful when testing newer fixes, Lua plugin behavior, or compatibility changes before a stable release.
A game server exposed to other players needs firewall control, backups, trusted plugins, moderation, and update planning. Development builds may change behavior more often than stable packages.
