Minecraft-compatible multiplayer worlds can be hosted with a prebuilt Cuberite server package. This is useful for operators who want the C++ server without compiling it from source.
Public servers need careful administration: firewall rules, backups, plugin trust, player moderation, and updates all matter. The server can expose chat and world data to connected players.
