Processor and memory resource sets can be managed more easily from Python tooling for assigning processes to selected Linux kernel resources. It is useful for administrators isolating workloads or testing CPU placement.
Cpuset changes can starve processes, reduce performance, or confuse service management. Apply settings carefully and keep a recovery shell outside the affected set.
