Description

Individual applications can be routed through a transparent proxy by using Linux cgroups. It is useful for administrators or advanced users who need per-app network routing instead of sending the whole system through one proxy.

Transparent proxying changes network behavior at a low level. Review cgroup rules, firewall interaction, DNS behavior, and trusted proxy endpoints before using it with private traffic.
