Description
Cooling devices can be monitored and controlled by the background service used by CoolerControl. It is useful when the graphical client or plugins need a system daemon to talk to supported fans, pumps, and sensors.
Hardware-control daemons can apply settings automatically. Keep configuration conservative and monitor temperatures after changes, because unsafe cooling profiles can affect system stability.
