Screen brightness on Intel devices can be adjusted from the terminal without relying on a full desktop settings panel. It is useful on laptops or small systems where the usual brightness keys or graphical controls do not work well.
This is a hardware-facing command-line tool. Changes affect the visible display immediately, but they do not create a separate app window or background service.
