Installed Arch packages can be reconstructed into buildable package definitions from the command line. It is useful for maintainers or advanced users who need dependency tracking, hooks, and PKGBUILD customization based on an installed system.
This is a developer and packaging tool. Rebuilding packages from installed files can capture local state or mistakes, so generated PKGBUILDs should be reviewed before redistribution or installation.
