Shell completion behavior for bash and zsh can be tested with the development build of the completion daemon. It is useful for contributors and terminal users who want the newest completion changes.
Development daemons can regress shell behavior or startup performance. Keep a way to disable the shell hook if completion becomes slow or incorrect.
