Description
IPS patches can be created or applied to binary files from the command line. It is useful for ROM-hacking, preservation, and binary-diff workflows where small patch files are easier to distribute than full images.
Patch tools can irreversibly alter files when used in place. Work on copies, keep original checksums, and only patch files you are legally allowed to modify.
