Description
File-transfer progress can be shown while data passes through a pipeline. It is useful for users who copy, archive, or transfer large files and want visible progress instead of a silent command.
Progress tools do not verify data integrity by themselves. Use checksums or transfer verification when copying important backups, disk images, or production data.
