Description
Groups the Ceph daemons and cluster components needed to run distributed storage services. It is useful for administrators assembling a storage cluster from the service packages rather than installing only client tools.
Cluster components can create network services, consume disks, and affect data availability. Plan host roles, firewall policy, device layout, and recovery procedures before deploying them.
