Description
Converts DVI documents into plain text for reading, indexing, or processing. It is useful when old TeX or LaTeX output needs to be inspected without a graphical DVI viewer.
Use it from the terminal on DVI files. The result is text extraction, not a faithful page layout, so formulas, spacing, and complex typography may need manual checking.
