Installer integration can keep an expected package name available even when this package currently contains no functional payload. Empty packages are often used for transitions, compatibility, or dependency placeholders in distribution images.
There is no installer interface or daily tool inside this package by itself. It matters only if another BigLinux component or image build depends on the package name being present.
