Description

Kernel samepage merging can be configured more easily for systems that benefit from memory deduplication. It is useful for users running virtual machines, containers, or repeated workloads where identical memory pages are common.

This is system tuning for memory behavior, not a normal app. KSM can affect CPU usage, latency, and isolation assumptions, so enable it only after considering the workload and security expectations.
