Description

Network and remote filesystem data can be cached locally through the Linux FS-Cache infrastructure. It is useful for administrators who want repeated file access to be faster or more resilient on supported filesystems.

This is a background daemon, not an app you open. Cache configuration affects disk usage, freshness, and privacy of stored data, so size limits and cleanup policy should be planned.

How to run

cachefilesd.service
