Description

Pacman package caches can be trimmed while keeping a chosen number of older versions. It is useful for Arch-based systems where package downloads accumulate and disk space needs to be recovered safely.

This is a maintenance command for local package cache files. Removing too many old packages can make downgrades harder, so choose the retention count deliberately.
