Description

Certificates issued through Google Trust Services can be validated by software that uses the system trust store. It is useful when applications need to connect securely to services using those public certificate roots.

This is certificate trust data, not a Google application. Root certificates affect HTTPS and other TLS connections across the system, so they should match the trust policy expected for the machine.
