Systems can trust certificates issued under the CAcert.org root authorities when local policy allows it. It is useful for users or administrators who need TLS validation for services using CAcert certificates.
This is certificate trust data, not an app. Adding root certificates changes what secure connections the system may accept, so use it only when you understand and accept the trust policy behind that authority.
