Description
Screen luminance can be adjusted from the terminal by applying xrandr changes. It is useful for scripts or lightweight desktops that do not provide convenient brightness controls.
This is a command-line display utility. xrandr brightness changes are software-side adjustments and may not reduce a monitor's physical backlight power.
