Description

32-bit x86 Linux programs can run on ARM and other non-x86 systems without a full virtual machine. It is useful for older games, legacy tools, and software that still depends on 32-bit x86 binaries.

This is a compatibility layer launched from the terminal or by wrapper scripts. Compatibility is program-specific, and untrusted binaries should be treated with the same caution as native executable files.
