Description
Detects whether a paired mobile phone is nearby over Bluetooth and can drive presence-based desktop actions. It is useful for automations such as locking the screen or changing behavior when the user walks away.
Presence detection can fail because of radio range, battery state, or pairing issues. Do not rely on it as the only security control for locking a sensitive workstation.
