Description

AVR embedded firmware can be debugged from Linux through a dedicated debug interface. It is useful for developers working with microcontrollers who need breakpoints, inspection, and hardware-level troubleshooting.

Hardware debugging can halt or alter a device while it is connected. Confirm wiring, voltage, and firmware backups before attaching to a target board.
