Description
Linux block-layer behavior can be tested with a framework built for kernel storage developers. It is useful for validating filesystems, block devices, drivers, and storage-related kernel changes.
Block-layer tests can be destructive or require dedicated test devices. Do not run them on disks containing important data unless the test plan explicitly says it is safe.
