Package signature verification can trust the official BigLinux signing keys after this keyring is installed. It lets the package manager check whether repository packages were signed by expected BigLinux maintainers.
This is security data, not an app. It should come from a trusted repository because a wrong keyring can weaken package trust or prevent legitimate updates from being accepted.
