Voice-over-IP applications can use a SIP stack from the Belledonne Communications ecosystem. It is useful for packages that need call signaling, registration, and SIP-related communication features.
This is mainly a library component, not a complete calling app by itself. VoIP software can handle contacts, call metadata, microphone audio, and network credentials.
