Description

Backend services can be started on demand when a reverse proxy receives matching Host headers. It is useful for administrators who want lazy-loading services to save resources until traffic arrives.

Reverse proxies affect network exposure and request routing. Configure host rules, TLS, authentication, and service permissions carefully to avoid exposing the wrong service.
