Description
Status-bar values can be updated through an event-driven daemon instead of repeated polling. It is useful for users building efficient custom bars on lightweight Linux desktops or window managers.
This is a background component for a custom desktop setup. It needs configuration and integration with a bar; it does not provide a complete desktop panel by itself.
