Runs the Babel loop-avoiding distance-vector routing protocol for dynamic network routing. It is used in mesh, experimental, or specialized networks where routes need to adapt automatically.
Use it only if you administer the network and understand the routing design. Misconfigured routing daemons can disrupt connectivity or expose unintended paths.
