Description
Creates Makefile templates used by GNU-style build systems. Developers and package maintainers use it with Autoconf to turn project metadata into build files that make can run.
It runs from the terminal and is mainly needed when building or packaging source code. Normal desktop users usually receive it only as part of a development toolchain.
