Adds plugins that extend Audacious with additional audio formats, output backends, effects, visual features, and playback capabilities. It is useful when the base player needs broader media support.
Plugins work inside Audacious rather than as separate apps. File parsing and network stream behavior depend on the enabled plugins, so avoid untrusted media sources when possible.
