Description
Checks whether a host responds at the ARP layer on a local network. It is useful for diagnosing LAN reachability, duplicate addresses, and devices that may not answer normal IP ping.
ARP diagnostics work only on the local link and can reveal network inventory. Use them responsibly on networks you administer or are allowed to test.
