Description
Provides GNU binutils built for ARM EABI bare-metal targets, including tools to assemble, link, inspect, and manipulate object files. It is part of cross-compilation toolchains for firmware and embedded systems without a normal operating system.
Install it when building low-level ARM firmware or when another embedded toolchain depends on it. It is not useful for running ARM desktop applications on the local machine.
