Description
Adds AMD APP SDK libraries and OpenCL ICD files for systems that are not using the Catalyst driver stack. It helps OpenCL applications discover and use the compatible AMD compute runtime.
Driver runtimes affect GPU compute behavior system-wide. Install only for matching hardware and driver setups, and validate OpenCL applications after changes because conflicts with other ICDs can break compute workloads.
