Description
Linux audio applications gain additional ALSA plugin modules for routing, transforming, or accessing audio streams. It is useful when specific audio setups need plugin capabilities not present in the base ALSA library.
These are runtime plugins, not a separate mixer or player. Audio behavior depends on application configuration and the ALSA plugin chain in use.
