Description
Provides Akonadi, the KDE personal information management storage and access layer. KDE PIM applications use it to work with mail, contacts, calendars, notes, and related data through asynchronous services.
Keep it when using KDE applications such as KMail, KOrganizer, or Kontact. It runs in the background and supports those apps rather than being a main user-facing program by itself.
