Description
Screen backlight brightness can be controlled with an xbacklight-compatible tool based on ACPI. It is useful when scripts or keybindings expect xbacklight behavior but the system needs a different backend.
Brightness controls depend on hardware and permissions. Test small changes first if the display can become too dim to use comfortably.
